I’ve had the distinct pleasure of getting to know Herb Hicks over the years. He is a phenomenal piano player, brilliant artist and just an all-round great guy. I’ve subbed in occasionally as his vocalist for his band and he has helped me on numerous occasions as my piano player for some comedy gigs. Of the 20 tracks on the Christmas Charity CD Precious Child I produced he played on five of them. He’s a very interesting man to talk to and he answered these questions with insight and eloquence. If you haven’t done so yet, pick up his book. It’s a great read.
